clicking here. In brief, it involves taking multiple pictures of the same subject at differing exposures, and then merging them all into one combined image using Adobe Photoshop or similar post process tool. The image below is an untouched combination of 3 images....
The generous amount of photographic information affords the photographer a considerable amount of artistic expression when publishing the final product.
The image below of a sunset near a barn found outside Pittsboro, is an untouched compilation of more than 20 separate exposures.
