People asked me why I was in Red Key -- to show the family:

But they were closed
"Leavin' RedKey on a Rail"

I am standing in the middle West High street facing west, Meridian Street / U.S. Highway 1 is at my back.  I was taking pictures of the newly refurbished streets, sidewalks (paid for by Federal stimulus dollars), note the Red Key Clock Tower in the distance.

When I noticed out of the corner of my left eye, a young boy watching me from the laundromat window. Fearing that he would change his composure and start making faces, I swing to my left and quickly fired off the next few frames.

Other than using Picasa 3 to straighten the images (a testament to how quickly I shot), the images are not modified in any other way.

Red Key Round Barn and a Horse

While traveling south on U.S. Highway 1, about 5 miles north of Red Key Indiana, we drove up to a farm with a round barn.  Inside was a somewhat inquisitive but aloof horse.

Every time I approached for a close up, he retreated into the barn.

Peek-A-Boo

Finally I pretend to walk away. Once out of sight I approached from "around" the barn and snap a couple of quick frames.

O.K. you got me!

Not sure if you can see him, but he's wise to my antics now.  He watches me walk all the way back to the car.
